Sublimation only works on polyester or a polyester coating — the dye turns to gas and bonds into the fibre, which is why the print has no hand at all and will not crack or peel like a vinyl transfer.
Paper weight matters more than people expect. Too light and the sheet cockles under the ink load and shifts on the press, which shows up as ghosting on the finished garment.
